Thank god our police aren't armed

The bloke is an adviser to A&S Police on race relations and is there to be a positive figure promoting awareness. Why not just tell them who he is and explain that they have got the wrong bloke and in fact I am the race relations adviser man? But yes I agree, its an excellent thing that the police in this country are not armed.

What the fk does that mean. they asked him a question which refused, it then escalated. If you watch the video, they didn't just taser him

He hadn't done anything wrong, simple as that. He had every right to refuse to give his name and go about his business

Citizens have a duty to assist the police in their enquiries, he straight out refused them, which obviously raised the officers suspicions that he was in deed the wanted man.
If he is employed to foster better relationships with the police, he's not doing a very good job. Will be interesting to see the outcome of this.

Police dont have a duty to taser a man if they dont give a name (do they?)

Police thought he was someone else that was wanted. All he had to do was give his details. He swore at them and behaved aggressively. Bit silly. Nice dog though.
