There was supposedly an EDL march in Walsall attended by a few hundred that supposedly the Midlands police felt if they policed that they were unable to police the game. Now call me cynical but clubs can request home or away fixtures so it doesn't clash with other activities i.e. Cardiff will play away from home when Rugby internationals or on or clubs request an away fixture first game of the season to make sure the pitch has recovered after a concert. So why didn't Villa request an away fixture or why wasn't the fixture moved to the Sunday. I reckon it was Sky testing out a Friday night game for next season under the guise of a march in Walsall
