Personally I think they are still good looking cars. My mates Dad had one from new, in about 1971, but it was the poxy 1300. Always fancied a drive of the 3 litre model. Anyone on here still have one ?

Good looking car, quite fast but terrible road holding. A real 70s relic classic.

Definitely dated, but still looks great. Always wanted the 2.8 injection

My brother had a 2.0 John player special in black and gold... that took us to many an away day back in the late 70s early 80s...

Back in 1984 I had a 2.8i and can vouch for the terrible road holding, having lost it on many a roundabout!

I had two in my younger days, the last one being a brand new 2.0 Laser in 1985. Great cars. OK.....not built to BMW or Mercedes standards but didn’t cost anything like in hard earned coins. Easy and cheap to service.
