There has been something of a sea change in opinion in the British sports media of late. We seem to be experiencing a level of fairness in reporting of our club that is way outside of the norm. It makes me seriously wonder if someone has had words at a high level.

The original article is from 7 months ago. He has come on in leaps and bounds and his stock has rocketed since then. The press sniping and fans booing seems to have more or less disappeared.

Yes. It's not just England fans. A sizeable minority of City fans absolute rip Sterling to shreds on a weekly basis. He is the first person to be targeted if we are not 3 up after twenty minutes. I really struggle to see what he has done (or hasn't) to justify the levels of abuse he gets from some blues.

Sterling will never look a decent player with England , because he is surrounded by shite players and managed by a F.A. Yesman with absolutely no idea how to manage a football team to success , imagine the scenario : Sterling breaking out of defence , he's crossed the half way line and the only men to pass to is snipe nose Linguard or overrated Rashford , when he does the same for City he has Merlin,KDB.Jesus,Sane, Bernardo, Aguero as possible targets . Even Pep could'nt doing anything with an England team , you can't polish turds.
