The mutv commentators said that we had the older team. Is that true? Just seems more impressive if not the case.


BTW I thought the mutv guys were fair again (same as in the u21 game). The only issue I had with them was that while they admired city's style, they only wanted their own team to play to the elements. Only went to show imo the difference in expectations at the clubs these days.

No City didn't have an older team in any way.

Utd's defence for example were all between a year & 2 years older than Ambrose & older than most on City's team.

It is bollocks, don't believe one word of it. The same shite trolled out when we put 6 past Bayern Munich.

Threw it into Excel and it turns out that Utd's average age is 17.6 and City's 17.5 so we were the same really.
