The 'Pre-match/watching abroad/watching in a Pub' thread.

Wherever you end up it will be infested with Scandinavian plastic dippers

When we were there for a europa cup match going back a few years we spent a lot of time in a pub called the Irish Rover.. it was an Irish pub !!!!

Don't remember it being ridiculously pricey, but can't remember if they showed the football

Yeah, we were in there for a while, like you I didn't think it was excessively pricey.

Yes they are showing the Liverpool game.

Since the pound fell it has got dearer but nothing like Norway.
There is an Irish pub and a Scots pub about 5 mins from Central Station.
Sorry cannot be of more help.

All the bars were dear, remember paying roughly £7/8 a pint in 2009
As said before
Irish Rover
Dubliner
Sams
Bloomsdays was the bar the Danish blues used

I always go to The Old English Pub just across the road opposite the main entrance to Tivoli Gardens. Decent pint, multiple screens. It will however be full of Danish Dippers.
