It was an important moment when Allardyce was sacked by Blacburn.

He hasn't had a sniff of a job since, not even Real Madrid have called!!

Then we have the demise of Everton where the fans are less than impressed with another season of shite football in a shite stadium.

Of course Pulis has his head so far in the sand he cannot hear the discontent that is bubbling in the Britannia Stadium as ugly route one footie gains fewer and fewer points.

Martin O'Neil is more of a mystery but it seemed clear that he had at least one eye on the main chance and kept his powder dry.

Hodgson's failure at a big club has tarnished his reputation so that his opinions are now firmly muted and limited to WBA.

And of course Mourinho has long since gone, even if the occasional quote appears in the UK press.

So it seems that the Fergie Fanboys aren't exactly proving to be successful and cutting edge football men.

It wont be long until Fergie stands alone, in a darkened press room, muttering about how nobody likes him.

Maybe the media blackout is because there are now no decent footballing people with a good thing to say about old bacon chops?

There are still a million and one Baconface fanboys in the managerial offices of the Premier League and beyond, and the scum are still getting more than their fair share of FA decisions. This media blackout is nothing more than Taggart saying "if we lose to a rival and you, the TV companies, enjoy it then I'm cutting you off". He's just trying to reinforce that he thinks it's in the financial interests of the media to use their influence to support the scum. It's nothing more than mindgames aimed at the money- and influence-wielding fatcats.

If you were to look across the footballing landscape today you will see far more managers and charmen who have a disdain and dislike for Fergie than ever before.

One by one his fluffers are falling away and the pressure will mount.

Even his ex-players offer little in friendship/solace now.

Bruce is the closest to an ally but even he tries to beat them and is no more sycophantic towards Fergie as he is towards other managers.

But the world knows Macari for what he is.

Fergie has had validation from other 'successful' managers for a while but it seems these same managers who are now struggling have little worth reporting ;-)

I have two wishes (among other, more important ones!) that Ferguson makes the nature of his going quick, and that he heads as far north as he can - I'm thinking Fair Isle or the Shetlands.

The nightmare scenario of course is that when he does retire he is forever on our screens as an 'untouchable' pundit!!!!
