Giggs always reminds me of Tom Jones in that because he's been around for years so people see him for better than he actually is. I could name 5 United players I consider to be better.

Keane, Schmeichel, Ronaldo, Cantona and RVN.

Shearer, Ronaldo, Viera, Keane and Bergkamp off the top of my head.

Spot on about giggs, average at best.

wow, blue-tinted specs out in force on here. we are talking about the best players in premier league history, a competition that united have won 11 times out of 18 and some claim none of their players are amongst the top 5. also the jokers claiming giggs is average need to have a word with themselves. he may have slowed up over the last couple of years but we're talking about 18 years of premier league football. would any of you turn your noses up at an identical player, aged 19, for city now?
