I watched the screener, says it was filmed in 2007 so is it the same film?

Anyway it was a decent quality copy but in no way was it the scariest movie of all time, in fact it wasn't very scary at all and I would have been disappointed to have wasted money on this at the cinema.

I heard the theater release has a different ending..

genuinely scary in parts. the ending is supposed to be different but who knows.
