At 9am, in the unlikely even you could actually get on the website, I'm pretty sure you could have had 2 extra on top of the one you had already (in cup scheme), it was quickly reduced to 1 (within the hour), I doubt many got 2 though, as for most of that time you were struggling to connect to the website at all.
I'm still waiting for my paper ticket. The other one apparently is loaded to my card.

Im on the cup scheme and have spent all season slagging it off. However this last week shows its the way to go for both club and fan but they must get the pricing right first. Make the deal attractive enough for those who are prepared to commit to every game and you'll shift a large proportion of your tickets for all matches, including the early rounds against the less glamourous teams. You can then make up any financial shortfall by hammering the glory hunters and tourists when we play the big boys... The ones who had every excuse Under the sun why the couldnt attend games like Kiev but now suddenly all find their diaries empty this Tuesday night.
There will be a significant number of fans not on the cup schemes.
City have to look at & introduce a system which is more effective for those fans.
I queued on the phone for nearly 3 hours. I got my ticket, success. I was lucky to be able to spend that time. Not everyone can.
I'd like to think success will continue. Phone booking & booking online has to be a priority for the club to improve.
