Who are the top 10 English clubs in terms of honors, fanbase etc, mine would be

1-Liverpool

2-Scum

3-Arsenal

4-Everton

5-Aston Villa

6-Spurs

7-Chelsea

8-Wolves

9-Man city

10-Forest

your not far off and this will be open to many peoples interpretation of "big club" if were going on history and fan base i'd probably take chelsea out and replace them with leeds, apart from that i'd go with your take, maybe all teams in different order tho.

What would a table look like if you gave each honour points. Like 5 for the league, 4 european cup, 2 fa cup, 1 league cup ect

I wouldn`t even include wolves in a top 20 - they have a localised fan base and
have won nothing for years and are not established as a premiership club.
Leeds should be in the top 10 in terms of honours & fan base but its debateable
which criteria is the most important to the pecking order.
chelsea have won alot honours recently as opposed to villa or everton but
are they as bigger a club in terms of tradition and fan base??

You were doing alright up to then! Wolves (aka Mulletland) above City and then Forest in the 10th, but no Newcastle? Are you a mate of Clarkie?
Forest 2 European cups in a row
Yeah; thirty years ago. That's nearly as long ago as our last proper pot. The OP also mentioned "fanbase etc". Would you seriously rank Forest above the Loony Toons, both Sheffield clubs or Lids (*spits*)? Seriously?

If you took every professional team in English football and compiled an all-time league table that calculated the number of points the clubs have earned since their existence, which teams would be at the top? You may be surprised by the findings:(figures upto the end of the 2008 season)

1. Manchester United, 5559 points
2. Liverpool, 5513
3. Arsenal, 5346
4. Wolverhampton Wanderers, 5137
5. Preston North End, 5105
6. Aston Villa, 5005
7. Sheffield United, 5002
8. Sunderland, 4993
9. Everton, 4987
10. Burnley, 4979

Where do the other Premier League clubs rank?

* Blackburn, 11th position
* Bolton, 12th position
* West Bromwich Albion, 13th position
* Manchester City, 14th position
* Newcastle United, 15th position
* Chelsea, 27th position
* Stoke, 29th position
* Hull, 31st position
* Middlesbrough, 34th place
* Tottenham, 39th place
* Fulham, 40th place
* Portsmouth, 63rd place
* West Ham, 64th position
* Wigan, 91st position
