We don’t seem to get many smug arsenal posters in here these days? Cunnts have come back to within TWENTY THREE points of us tonight

Disappointing result yesterday, but no reason to panic, overreact, sack the board or regard our season as over.

Onwards and upwards. Our next top-6 fixture is Arsenal away on 25 February, followed by a home match against Chelsea the following week. By the time we play the rags on 7 April we could already be champions if all goes well; the final top 6 fixture we have is Spurs away the following week.

One final point: despite the media frothing over our defensive ineptitude one point is worth noting: in 6 games against top 6 opposition we have conceded 7 goals in total, 4 of them in one game. In 7 games against top 6 opposition Liverpool have conceded 16 goals, 8 of them against us. Yet we are the ones with the suspect defence?

Looking at arsenals fixtures and burnleys, they may be out of the top six by the time we play them, will they still count if so?

The Arsenal game is cup final weekend and so pretty likely it will be rescheduled.

So, City clear by a distance, the other five within touching distance of each other. No much difference from the real league.

It does show the rags up a bit against the big boys, always nice to see :-)
