Was given a deadline to sign his contract, didn't and is apparently off to London with Arsenal and Spurs the favourites. Don't think he wants to be here and he feels he's already the dogs bollocks at 17 years of age. The new Sturridge.

We haven't exactly struggled with the start to our last two seasons. Bit in the middle causes us problems .

Could be the squad gets worn out quickly due to lack of preparation? Four friendlies can't be enough, especially given the (lack of) pace they're played at

Cheesy has set up his own YouTube Channel here

He's documenting his trip to American for the ICC along the way. I believe he's doing this to perhaps find another niche around the club. He's a very talented man, and his passion for the Blues is undeniable. He really needs to be involved with the club in some capacity and make a living doing it. If you have not checked it out, please do so and subscribe.

Do pre season games contribute all that much to match sharpness? Most of them seemed to be played at a fairly sedate pace, mainly because the players are knackered from all of the conditioning work. I'm sure they have some value, but do we overstate it? We see the players looking sluggish in pre season games and then sharp when the season kicks off and naturally think that the pre season games lead to the sharpness, but is that actually true?
