I am really excited about this seasons campaign and I reckon we could go quite far.

This is an under 19 competition so to be involved do you have be 19 before a certain date in January? If so a lot of last years team will find themselves out of the team and a relatively youthful side will participate.

We could have 4 Spaniards in the team by the looks of it with Pozo, Angelino, Maffeo and Manu Garcia all likely to feature.

I am interested to see the players available to Vieira.

The players have to be born on or after 1 January 1996. I was just checking the ages of the EDS squad and there are still quite a few available to play. Fofana, Glendon and Hiwula are examples of players that are too old.

I think it's basically going to be a reunion of the all conquering under 18's from last year, with Ambrose leading the line and players like Brandon Barker making his incisive runs. And as you pointed out players like Garcia should feature as well. We will have a very strong team.

It's interesting that Viera has to rely on so many young players in the EDS team this year because of all the loan situations. I think we need to be understanding of this when looking at the EDS results this season.

We generally move players up early in each age range in order to test them but this season should be a test for all the groups.

Be interesting to see how good our youth side really is compared to other top sides. The likes of Barker, Adarabioyo, Garcia etc are very highly rated.

As a team, we are ok in most positions to compete at this level but central defence looks potentially iffy this season.

I think maybe last season our best u19's players was a better team, the age group was more fitting last year imo, but who knows, maybe theyll surprise me! But still we definetly have on of the best academy teams so we should be able to compete big time! Big hopes for Ambrose in this competetition!

Can't see it anywhere, I thought Bayern may show their matches but can't see any sign of it. I'd forgotten the U19 tournament but the KO is 14:30.
