Mad Dog Fog was a bit shit when we went 3 years ago. Very poor service and expensive beer.

Sounds about right. Which makes it the best footy bar in the City. This is America after all :).

I just wore cargo shorts and a wife beater for a week in San Fran in July and was perfectly fine. You don't need all the baselayer, down jacket, ski cap, etc. Leave that stuff at home and you'll have more room to stuff bottles of wine from Stags Leap district into your luggage.

Take a tour and tasting at Anchor Brewery in SF. Imo they brew good beer. I'm quite partial to the Anchor Steam, myself.
