vietnamn v manchester city live on youtube now

Even in that heat and humidity I don't think Edin broke sweat. I know he is probably pissed at having to play and he doesn't want to get injured but at least be professional about it and make some effort.

What I took from that game:

- Sterling is going to be fantastic for us, him and Silva link up so well.

- Iheanacho is easily good enough to be the third choice striker behind Aguero and Bony.

- Garcia looks so, so comfortable in the first team and had another great game. Think he'll be in the matchday squad for the West Brom game, as we're short in centre midfield without Delph and probably Fernandinho aswell.

- Navas isn't even close to being on the same wavelength as Silva and Sterling, he's so rigid without any final product. Lopes has looked far more promising and fluid when he's came on during pre-season and I'd rather Lopes was given further opportunities. Silva, Sterling, De Bruyne, Nasri and Lopes as our attacking midfield options this season would be immense.

- Dzeko has to go, his attitude this pre-season has been a disgrace. You shouldn't get away with walking about the pitch making no effort as a Manchester City player.

If this is going to be the post match thread could someone who watched it please post up the team and a let us know how it went down.
From the matchday thread it looks like Silva and Sterling ripped them apart early doors and all the kids did well. Can someone please expand?

Started off with Hart in goals, back four of Sagna, Denayer, Mangala and Kolarov. Evans and Garcia holding midfield with Navas, Silva and Sterling behind Iheanacho.

Strong team in the first half, it was 4-0 by half time. Some great passing between Sterling/Silva/Iheanacho, really good stuff. Sterling got a cracking goal from outside the box. Garcia controlled the game in the centre of the park, with Evans doing well in there too. Defence was solid but Vietnam didn't pose much threat.

Second half all the substitutions started to happen and the game changes completely. Willy, Horsfield, Humphries, Zuculini, Lopes, Pozo, Roberts and Dzeko all came on. The youngsters did well, Lopes and Pozo in particular looked very good. Dzeko didn't want to be there and he'll be gone soon IMO.

Vietnam were a pretty poor team, but it was a fun game to watch and good to see the players score a few goals and the young players impress.

how do you concede a goal against that team?
For what it's worth, Arsenal beat them 7-1 in 2013, so this is about in line with what you'd expect. It was Horsfield and Humphreys defending there so it's not entirely surprising.

What was up with Mangala and the young lad at the end there? (Can't recall his name)
Looked like Cam was unhappy (probably with something another player said) and Mangala was trying to comfort him/hold him back.
