Find it absolute madness anyone would not start KDB in this form, I really don't see that happening. If he needs a rest then start him and take him off, much better to fire early out of the blocks with the best side.

This will be a tough game, would you rest KDB against any of the other top 6 away from home?

You class Watford as a top 6 side? Right...

Zero chance De Bruyne will be rested for this. He'll get the night off for the League Cup game at West Brom.

No, but the answer to the question is no, which just means it's complacent to think we can do it against Watford, who've started well and are unbeaten after 4. We've got Chelsea A in 3 games time, getting points on the board in the next 2 is important and De Bruyne on the pitch is a big plus in doing that.

Absolutely. And if he needed a rest he would have come off at HT last night. Not a chance he doesn't start.

I think last night and 2nd half vs dippers showed 4 at the back suits us best. I'd stick with that and then let's be honest we have an embarrassment of riches to play a variety of formations in front of that four.

The players should (and I'm sure will) be chomping at the bit just to get back out and play.
Confident enough that we'll win, but expect it to be tough - I rate Silva as a very good, tactically astute coach.
2-1 City

Bit confused by this. Must be one of them cockney wideboys who supports United and a smaller local club for cup games and finals. Wasn't aware we've had our identity erased?

Don't be fooled by this "always been a fan, me" nonsense they come out with. Remember when we got to the cup final and all those sudden hidden Hornets who you'd never suspected had the slightest interest in football and far less Watford, suddenly appeared looking for any spare tickets? Well that's the loyal fan base of Manchester Mercantile City LLP in the 21st century.

I used to have a grudging respect for their fans and their following of a proper nitty-gritty football team, experiencing the ups and downs of football's rocky path, rather than the easy glory-hunting selection of the diabolical red devils down the road.

However all that has long since been blown away into the dust of history. These days, they're a sad and lamentable parody of a club. As bad as, or perhaps even worse than, even United. Every last vestige of what used to be at Maine Road, every last piece of authenticity and credibility, has long since been ripped away and carelessly tossed into the bin in the interests of brash and ostentatious commercialisation. Now they are just a little trotting international show horse for some dodgy oil sheikh.

Where there used to be respect for Man City, now there is only pity for any real genuine fans of theirs who still remain and contempt for the legions of 'soccer fans' and 'always been a Manc me, even though I never mentioned it....' hucksters and come-lately frauds that make up the vast bulk of their fanbase these days.

I have one simple question for any 'genuine' Man City fan who might happen to stumble across this post.

Why have you not had the balls to start up a football team again (like FC United) when your team got identified, captured and had its identity absolutely and permanently erased and eliminated?
