I think the whole thing surrounding him was a joke from the start.
I've played in that league with semi pro sides and the divisions below and we always had two very good keepers and a more than decent 17/18 year old knocking around too.

There's no way that this guy is their reserve keeper. They have 20 players in their squad, a few who've cost a million pound or so in the past, the lad from Arsenal that has played in the CL and in the Prem, there's no way a team at that level would regularly have him on the bench. You just need to look at the squad lists for other teams in their division. Most have two or three keepers with league experience or on loan from league clubs..

Whilst Sutton have done fantastic, this guy has made the league a bit of a laughing stock.
 
Where are people getting this info that he was paid to be in an advert for the promotion?
 
Lard arse should be cutting down on the pies, not eating them at every opportunity.
 
Who were the bookies who were daft enough to give the bet in the first place compounded by taking a bet off the man they were laying odds on. Unbelievable Geoff. Bookies should have their licence suspended for that, might make them be more professional in future.
