All those people who want to bomb Dunne out next month need to open their eyes. This bloke runs our defence, and when he's not playing we look completely inept at the back. He's come in for some criticism this season, early on it was probably justified but recently (bar one header last weekend) he has turned it around.

The evidence is there and its plain to see. He is by far our most important player in our defence, and if anyone back there needs replacing, its definitely not him.

Thank you

Whilst i do agree that we look a whole lot stronger with Dunne there , more often than not ........ i doubt whether he'd have made much difference tonite , so abject was that overall performance.

We were abysmal right throughout the side ....... only the subsitutes scored more than 5/10 in the MEN player ratings ........ and quite what we were playing at for that third goal is anyones guess ...... the wife would have hoofed that clear!

Im sorry but I find these kind of threads laughable, Dunne is now finding himself firmly in the Happy Clapper Supporters Club along with the likes of Vassell.

When either of them play they dont do anything worthy of praise and more often than not find themselves being subjected to abuse on here from those with eyes after yet another abject performance, as soon as this happens the H.C.S.C are out in force with the usual "It wasnt Dunnes fault that he scored 2 own goals, gave away a penalty and got sent off, he played well 12 months ago against Liverpool so give him a break" or "You cant blame Vass for missing 3 open nets and not finding a blue shirt once with a pass because he is fast and used to work hard plus he played well in pre season in meaningless fixtures" yet as soon as they dont play the H.C.S.C are out in force again saying how much we missed them and we lost because they didnt play! So they play, we get beat and its not their fault, they dont play, we get beat and its because they didnt play! Only at City!
