Welcome Ederson

Seems he was a bit of a late bloomer, not all that well known before Caesar's injury. He was kept out of the Centario squad last summer due to injury. I'd be surprised if he wasn't the #1 keeper for the World Cup if he gets at least semi-regular football with us this season.
I think he will be great for us but hope bravo starts as the number 1 and gives ederson 6 months to settle he is a good age and could do without the media pressure until he settles!

Just watched the Inside City video of him on the City website. Was quite disappointed.

It's important to respect the culture and local customs of the country / city you are moving to. The fact that he wore that cagoule and didn't zip it right to the top was a bit disrespectful. He's got a lot to learn, maybe John Stones could guide him a bit.

Looks like he has a little experience of English from the Inside City vid. That would be good news.

Julio César (Benfica) on Ederson: "He has force that no other goalkeeper possesses, it's surreal."

Julio César on Ederson: "He has a brilliant future. Technically he is very good and he will be Brazil's goalkeeper."
