West Brom post-match thread

Not our greatest performance but still should have scored 6 or 7. Main thing is another 3 points against a horrible team to play.
 
Any away win is good but can't see Pep being happy with that. Far too wasteful and switched off completed at the back.

Pissed off with that second half performance. Smacked of utter complacency. Pep will rightfully be fuming. Should have been 4 or 5 - 1 up, and then Otamendi goes and does that. Our final ball is utter shite when the edge has gone from the game and at some point it will cost us.

We've been a bit crappy since the second half of the Napoli game and we need to sort it out.

Sounds ridiculous considering we have won all but one game this season, but we set the bar high, and it's slipped somewhat these last 2 weeks. Happy with the 3 points and delighted with the third goal and the quality of it, but we need to be much better in both boxes on Wednesday.
 
Things we learn't - Never buy Jonny Evans he's not good enough at all. Some of West Brom's players are more concerned with injuring an opposing player than actually playing. Longer term Delph will struggle and we need Mendy back in the Spring. Other than that a great away win and despite the score we coasted it with other gears available if we needed.
 
2 mistakes, 2 goals conceded - very similar to last year and that's not a compliment.

I'm not seeing it with Bernardo yet, I can't quite understand why we aren't starting Sterling. Thought Kevin looked a little jaded. Stones was excellent again.
 
Big plus points are we played ok but still dominated the game and still unbeaten.

Minus points is the game should have been out of sight before Otamendi's mistake as we missed many chances.
 
A bit wasteful going forward and lacked that edge we’ve seen so much this season. Silly mistake by Otta, he should head that out of the box, absolutely no danger. Still, Pulis will make it difficult for a lot of the top teams there this season so happy we came through it. We deserved the win so no complaints
