As per thread title.

I'd say:-

Nice country location with good parking.

Definitely no juke Box, Sky tv one arm bandits or pool table.

Nice attractive bar area with hanging brassware.

Low beamed old worlde ceiling.

No kids allowed.

Red thick pile carpet.

Good beer/food at a reasonable price.

Large blazing log fire in winter.

Bar staff must be under forty have tight fitting tops and big knockers.

I think that just about covers it.

Near enough to walk to and from
Several different beers on tap, including dark mild but only one type of lager.
Spittoons
Sawdust
Dogs allowed
An atmosphere so thick with tobacco smoke you can't see from one end of the bar to the other.
No food other than crisps and pickled eggs.
No music
No kids

Sounds about right

Topless barmaids, nice beer, landlady a nmypho, after hours drinking.

Water, ducks/swans, and a bench. Sit and feed them crisps. Who needs friends? In fact, who needs a pub? Brown paper bag in the park. Class.
