What punishment should Liverpool get from UEFA

A sensible punishment would be making them play one match behind closed doors. A fine will achieve nothing and they'll just do it again, banning their fans might actually make their club do something about the problem instead of actively encouraging it.

Its premeditated with the bus routes published. i think both the club and police need looking into. The joke is it wont even be looked at until after the final where it should be a 1 game behind closed doors ban and in place for the semi final should they get there. As they are part of the club, they will get a token 5k fine

Here is the guide line on breaking rules and relevant punishment from most serious to least serve punishment.

Booing anthem or being critical of uefa family= £100,000 fine and we won't open the door for you if coming the other way into room

Not giving uefa officials butter with their roll for pre-match meal=£80,000 fine and excluded from secret Santa for 2 years.

Allowing wild animals (who are not a recognised affiliated uefa wild animal) to enter the stadium without a ticket or lanyard= £60,000 fine and have Micheal Owen do the commentary for all your games for 1 season.

Criticism of match officials = £40,000 fine and guaranted place in Europa league for the next 10 years.

Entering the field of play a few seconds later=£20,000 fine and all uefa officials can leave numbers 2 on the toilet unflushed for 3 games.

Any fans being racist or show threatening behaviour to opposition teams fans or players= A fine of whatever spare change you have in your wallet and a 10 pence mix up for all board members (but no sherbet flying saucers).

So don't think they will get a ban. However have you ever tried getting a decent 10p mix-up without having to purchase a the flying saucer. Can imagine the people of liverpool are going to be up in arms and planning vigils already.
