They never seem to get injured.. their bodies must take more hammering than most players every-week with fouls, players wanting to stick one on them for fame to make a name for themselves etc yet they are hardly ever injured.. Ronaldo is almost 33 FFS ! as you get older I thought injuries was more prominent.

Are they just extremely lucky or is there more to it, maybe something more sinister that will come out one day?

They never have to play at Stoke though on a winter's night - but seriously, they have a hell of a lot of gimme games against nothing more than traffic cones.

If Messi would come to us it would not take long before he would be out for a while.

Messi missed more than 2 months last season with injuries.
Tranny was out with a ligament tear for 2 months last summer, although he only missed the first month of the season as it happened at the Euros.

Messi also missed a huge chunk of the 12/13 and 13/14 seasons with hamstring problems.

Both players actually pick up their fair share, especially as they're exempt from doing any defensive work.

or maybe they're not slackers and want to play every minute of every match they can

bit tongue in cheek but could be something in it... mentally tougher than your average player?
