Where do people get their footy stats from?

I hear people pulling tackle success % and passes completed per game stats out of their arses all the time, yet I have no idea where they get them all from.

The reason I ask is because I wanted to know 'Distance run/Ground covered' by the City players during Tottenham game in order to prove a friend wrong.

Does anyone know where these stats are hiding?

Or can anyone tell me which player covered the most ground in the City v Spurs game?

It must be very confusing for you that the Premier League stats are to be found under the Premier League page and the African Football stats are under the African Football page.

I'll try to work on making the site easier for you to navigate.
