As for who deserves a knighthood, step forward, Sir Ian Botham, not just for being an outstanding cricketer and constantly shoving it up the Aussies, but playing a large part in getting the death rate in Leukemia down from over 90% to around 30%. All because he fractured a bone in his foot, went for physio on it and when waiting saw a group of kids with Leukemia, asked about them was told it was a virtual death sentence, so decided to do a walk from John O'Groats to Lands end and has done over 20 of them now around the world, he's raised millions and played a huge part changing that illness' mortality rate. A good friend of mine still has his little girl, she's just had the all clear, and its a lot to do with the work of Sir Beefy of Bothamshire.
Legend is an over used word but Beefy is, on and off the pitch.
