Why do Mods keep deleting Threads

Surely if there is an offensive post or has something sensative in it, you can just delete that post and not the whole thread.

I was onto page 10 of an 11 page thread and turned the page and there it was.........or not as the case may be

The mods have a lot of power and do need to exercise discretion But if threads are deleted only with good reasons, then we should support them 100%.

Same applies the other way though. If threads are deleted just because individual mods don't like them, we should complain as loud possible.

Mostly, I think we've got good mods.
