Copa libertadores is South American. Central and north America have their own competition the winner off that plays in the club World club

You have to take into consideration travel time.

Tim Vickery always says that the distance between Buenos Aires and Mexico City is pretty much the same as London to Mumbai.

Imagine going from NYC or Portland to Buenos Aires?
