Why is Socialism such a dirty word in the United States?

It's funny how the US Government always preaches Christian values
but baulks at the word "socialism", when Jesus was actually the ultimate socialist.

It's where the Yanks have been going wrong: They preach freedom of choice and democracy and yet they pour scorn on nations whose entire history is built around organised mantra. If it's not done the Yanks' way then they don't want to know. Their (the Yanks) entire belief in freedom of choice and democracy goes out of the window as soon as they start poking their noses in.

The world would be better if we ruled it (again) instead of those god damn Yankees.

Isn't it ironic though that when capitalism fucks up, they turn to state ownership of the banks......... i.e. communism.

communism or socialism will never work because theres always somebody at the top who gets treated better than the guy at the bottom. one guy lives in a palace the other in a shed ,therefore its everyman for himself...we can never be equal
