In the game against Chelsea according to sky we made 975 passes during the game. So the question I am asking is will their be a game where we will break the 1,000 passes or not. This according to sky is another premier league record that we have broken, more or less every time were on sky they come up with that city have broken 1 record or another.

902 is how many passes we completed yesterday wasn’t it?

Can’t see it that high again besides Swansea or Brighton home

I doubt it.
You’d need a team to engage even less than Chelsea did and I doubt we’ll see that this season.

The Stuart Pearce team was holding out for 1,000 passes in a season!

According to a recent article in the Talksport online they had the 'average ball in play' stats for each club with us on 58 minutes and 15 seconds. By my reckoning that's 16 passes per minute, or one pass in just under every 4 seconds.

The article was November last year and not the Chelsea game but gives a reasonable idea of how amazing the team is
