winter break/summer football

was listening to some radio station about the above and they were saying this wouldnt be far off being introduced,could it happen,a lot of countrys denmark, norway etc are well into there seasson if not finished,wouldn't mind watching night games when its still light at 10pm,beats bloody january,but they said to do this they would have to drop the prem to 18 teams,anyone else listen to this

if this ever were to happen i would go to the games less and less.
 
We don't need to do it.

Only reason Ireland does it is to not compete with GAA or something which is the more popular sport over there.

Scandanavian countries have far harsher winters than we do.

If its not pissing down and you're frozen to death, and 3-0 down, its not football.
