City was woeful today. Obviously the deficiencies are glaringly and needs to be rectified.
1. Opposing teams are finding out our Achilles Heel. Givens needs to command his box especially high balls.
2. Else defenders are exposed especially when 50/50 high balls are 'hovering' over the box. This is CRITICA! VITALE! IMPORTANTE!
*You know prior to the first game Mancini stated that he was going to sort out the defense & GK. Are we reverting back tothe same goalkeeping & defensive shortcomings.
3. Bridge is not mentally ready. Unforced errors or suicidal pass, which for a FB is a liability, and poor selection of shot upfront. Has he ever score a goal? Compared to current generation of FBs like Ashley, Alves, Maicon, Bosingwa, Nedum, Richards etc. ? He needs to setup his goal. Not when the GK is set and can see his shot miles off. Has he ever gone down the line, overlapped our upfront guys, to the flag and cross? Cross to our oncoming striker or attacker ? Bridge needs to do these. Fight through the thicket of his MENTAL doubts. Nothing venture. Nothing gain!
4. Either Barry or deJong needs to be on the bench in favour of additional creative midfielder. SWP should have start if he is uninjured else Johnson or Petrov. Can Mancini sort this out, including the backline, without fear or favour!
5. It looks like Ade will either be a' headless chicken or lazy bum' if he doesn't get serve quality balls from the backline or 'creative midfield'.
6. We don't have a supersub to come of the bench. IMO Petrov should have start with supersub Bellers to come on in 60th min.
7. Well Mancini 'tis a season of viviero pecoloroso'.

IMHO, to post this I have to do it without fear or favour.

8. Advice to Bellers: "Slow down son, don't hoof in anger. Be a rebel with a cause! In order to have longevity and be an 'elder stateman' like Giggs you have to emulate him. Setup goals not only to Tevez but also to Ade! Be onside rather than taking an extra yard to be offside. Take time then to cross the ball to our oncoming attackers just like Giggs. You have the football nous and experience."

9. Letting Robinho 'go on loan' IMO is a gigantic mistake. The ramifications are extensive. Yes I'm referring to all the players cited above. City Players need to fight and contend for their places. Else they will be complacent. Thats why Fergie is successful with a big squad!
