This has been doing a few of our nuts in today.

My cousin (on my mum’s side) has kids. I have a kid.

What ‘relation’ are the kids to each other?

And if both my kid and her kids subsequently have their own kids as adults (obv not with each other), what relation would they be?

The answer to the final bit of your question is the relation of the kid's kids to each would be third cousins i.e. share the same great great grandparent.
