Would Southgate ruin Foden?

Stones, Sterling and Walker don't play at the same level for England as they do for us. Whether that's down to being surrounded by inferior players or style of play, it's evident.
I hope Foden doesn't get thrust into the senior squad too quickly and gets his confidence ruined by mediocrity. I'm amazed that Sterling has the strength of character to recover from his experiences tbh.

Because the England coaching set up is poor beyond belief.

Aside from Gareth (its worth pointing out that neither as a player, or manager has he won anything) we have

and if they feel any aches and pains,,

Now lets look at Germany

Maybe they can afford better people, because their aim is to win trophies and not pay of a white elephant of a stadium.

I agree with everything in this post.

Southgate (along with many England managers in the past) suffers from not having his own tactical template and not having enough time, or a consistent squad of players, to develop or implement it. England often respond to opposition tactics, rather than imposing their own, well-developed style on games.

He suffers from not being good enough! He's in the job by default.
