Alonzo is one of the most under rated footballers of late, great all round footballing brain. He also was the layer who used to get kicked the most by opposition teams, even more than Maradona IMHO.

Wish he could play an extra year for his sake, the guy deserves nothing but credit for a great footballing career. I wish him well whatever he does next.

Had a conversation about these 2 last year out on a 50th in Benidorm, i'm still getting stick for saying he was the better than Gerrard, no other fucker agreed with me, all think i'm mad for saying it.
How they can't see it beggars belief, he allowed Gerrard to play, even fucking Stevie thinks so.

Ah well, they're the same group who think Silva & Sterling should start every single game..........

No they shouldn't if we want to keep them fit and not burn them out, look how off the pace Sterling was at Sunderland, he needed a break as does Silva occasionally, they're not machines, they need recuperation with the ridiculous amount of games they have to contend with.
