xbox one download failure

help required please with the XBOX ONE - frustrated son
he was trying to download FORZA5 with top gear cars pack, with a voucher code but the download did not complete, some technical issues happened (as he was setting up the controller he went paranoid and went to check on the game and when he did so the game was not there)
he tried the code again but a message came up saying "code already redeemed. try another?" .
any suggestions?

This code has already been used. Please enter a code that has not been used.

Check your download history
On your console, sign in to Xbox Live using the gamertag that you used when you originally purchased the content.
Go to Settings and then select Account.
Select Download History.
Browse your download history. If you want to download something again, select the item and then select Download Again.
If the content that you purchased is already in your download list, you cannot use the prepaid code again.

I presume you know what happened yesterday regarding the service going down?

I'm amazed at how much coverage the DDOS attack on Sony/Microsoft is getting! Nobody died FFS!!!!

And all these sad pale gamers-with-no-life being trotted out complaining their Christmas is ruined for ever! FFS get a f**king life!!!!
