Yaya Toure announces retirement from international football

We had him at his peak. A wonderful player who was at the front & centre of the greatest moments in the Sheik Mansour era.

Probably the most influential player in our modern history. Unplayable in 2013/14. Unique in the PL. Unforgetable for many fans.

He terrified the rags & their vermin fans.

Do you think either side in this stand-off actually has any real desire to see him play again for us?
I ask because in games where opponents allow us so much of the ball, he could still be an asset?

He is still training with the team,i would love to know what he is thinking,it's been quiet for a while. He doesn't suit pep's style and both sides know it,i'm dissapointed he hasn't gone somewhere else to play and is seemingly happy to sit and take the cash

Keep thinking he's what we are missing. Someone in the centre to see runners and pick a pass.
