your favourite radio station

6Music is,as Newlunar mentioned earlier regarding another station,pretty eclectic,but mainly indie-based.
They have "specialist" shows featuring dance, soul, funk, metal etc,but most DJ's have a fairly good knowledge of music and aren't too irritating;(with the notable exception of George Lamb who is one annoying prick).
Sadly only DAB at the moment.

6 Music for me.

It's so superior to any other station i have ever listened to.

Just wish i had it in the car.

Virgin radio - Decent music and the Christian O'Connell breakfast show is very funny

Talksport - Mostly shite, but still alright to listen to. Shame James Whale was sacked

Others I sometimes listen to are Planet Rock and The Arrow, and Radio Manchester or Magic when going to the match

dont listen to radio much, but in work they have radio city 96.7 which is just annoying, they play crap music in the morning, then go on to talk about liverpool or everton for the rest the day. and during the season, they do commentary on the liverpool games, and dont kep you updated on any other scores

it is an annoying radio station

Yeah, i have seen those before, and did consider it, but i just don't like the idea of having this thing stuck on my windsrceen. Plus, you'd have to keep taking it in and out of the car to avoid theft.

I've got a newish ipod interface stereo for the car, which i love, and i just wish i could have DAB on that. I'm sure it won't be long before most will.

5Live! Can't beat a bit of Up All Night!

Seconded. I like the relaxed style of the station.

(Even though Nicky Campbell is Bullying twat and Victoria Derbyshire is allegedly the stations bike)

here she is, Mat. would you ?
