your top 3 ballads of all time.

There used to be three on Granby Row to stop cars driving in to the University grounds. Me, Steve and Mark used to go to the gym in the evening and then get a cuppa and sit on them and chat to the working girls before we'd go back to work. Happy times.

Led Zeppelin: All My Love
The Who: Behind Blue Eyes
The Eagles: Pretty Maids All in a Row
Chicago: If You Leave Me Now
Queen: Love of my Life

I know, that's two extra.

This is a great idea for a thread. Who doesn't love a great ballad (except @FogBlueInSanFran)? Went with 10 with limitation of only one per artist. Why stop at 3?

"Purple Rain"--Prince
"Wish You Were Here"--Pink Floyd
"Yesterday"--Beatles
"Pink Moon"--Nick Drake
"Live to Tell"--Madonna
"The Song is Over"--The Who
"I'll Stand By You"--Pretenders
"Come Away with Me"--Norah Jones
"Into the Mystic"--Van Morrison
"You Can't Always Get What You Want"--Stones
