Zero creativity

We showed no creativity, no eye for goal, looked poorly positioned up front all night

4th FFS an clean sheet...

How long do you expect to stay there on draws? If we draw, it should be teams above us. Not to a team in the bottom half. Many people on here talk about a "squat" game and yet, they starting using excuses, that 2 of our players are missing, when things don't go the way we want.

We've created nothing ever since we switched to 4-4-2. Maybe the dissapointment of todays performance will finally make hughes switch back to the 4-2-3-1 formation that worked very well at the beginning of the season. Lucky to get a point today in truth.

Will all those who said we weren't missing Robinho, please put their hands up and write out a hundred times 'I know nothing about football'?

Yes but the original poster is right. We have been the same for a few games. It's the creativity that is missing. The whole pattern of play is predictable. Look at the 'probing' when we have the ball in defence - Joleoninho to Toure, back to J, J to B, B back to L, L to Toure and then a forward pass to someone in the mid who has had to come back into our half for it. We have a very cautious tactical approach from manager. I wonder how much players are inhibited from taking a risk for fear of cocking it up and not making the start eleven next time out. If you look at the last two midfields - SWP, Nige, Barry - there just isnt a Peter Dobie in there, nor a Berkovic nor a Bernarbia. We have a well tuned clock that ticks relentlessly, but Chelsea has a timepiece that has a fast and slow switch. If you compare the creativity and individuality we have a mountain to climb, but so do all the others attempting to get into the OldTopFour.
