I think this is worth its own thread. Do we think this injury will help City peel away from United further in the league? Will his absence force Rashford and Martial to step up and deliver making them a better team? Will we ever see zlatan play in a scum shirt again?

I've read some united fans are saying it's 'a blessing in disguise'...

Just forces the decision to buy a younger player sooner, no big deal in the long term. It just hampers their chances of top four.

It will help them, it's taken people a while to realise it but he's slow, lazy and misses loads of chances. But we know what United fans are like they like to claim they have the best player in every position so naturally the pundits said how amazing he's been and got him nominated for player of the season but he's shit.

Good job the twat didn't fall on his nose they would need a JCB to dig it out of the turf, bye Zlatan

He is slow, lazy overrated & misses loads of chances, but he's different to what else they have available (fast, headless, overrated & miss loads of chances) & they are now down to one lumpee for the long ball game, Fellaini.

On the other hand, it gives them more 'legs' & potentially enables Mourinho to park the bus even more shamelessly, but Big Nose was the main out ball for that. Now they have the long ball over the top but little else, if teams do their homework.

Zlamaras was an easy target to find.

Feel sorry for any footballer who may have a career ending injury.
As for whether or not it helps them, that depends on how they would have used him and how they replace him
Rashford has certainly impressed in the last couple of matches, whether or not he will be consistent at his age and when managers have analysed him and pick tactics to stop him.
Zlatan is certainly useful against bus parkers.

When he said he was Benjamin Button I didn't realise that he meant he'd soon not be able to walk.
