I have to concur with the 'doctored' theory. Not sure why, but when zooming(no pun intended! Great song, though!) into Aretha Franklin, there's a guy whose face in cut in half, in order to allow Franklin(and her poor choice of hat!) to be seen!
Probably cut off because the whole image is made up of smaller frames put together into a montage...?
I'm not talking about that stuff, which is obviously caused by the movement of the camera and the movement of the people in between shots.
Take a look at the image below (a panoramic of BOSTON) and the people on the tops of some of the buildings - they look like bad photoshops to me:-
