If Newcastle lose away at Chelsea on Wednesday and Arsenal beat Norwich at home on Saturday, Newcastle can't finish 3rd.

Arsenal currently 4 points in front.

Chelsea V Newcastle on Wednesday.

Arsenal V Norwich on Saturday.

Newcastle V City on Sunday.(Arsenal could be 7 points clear by then)

That leaves 4th only, with Spurs and Chelsea closing in on Newcastle.

I've been saying that there was/is a lot of difficult football for Newcastle to play before we played them and to leave all the worrying about playing them until we actually play them for a couple of weeks. The next game's the only important one is my mentality, but it is panning out quite nicely now isn't it.

Chelsea have now hammered QPR and on the back of their European Cup run, a bit similar to us last year, they're looking favourites for a home win in mid-week and (possibly) fourth spot.

Arsenal had a tricky fight at Stoke this weekend but they really should bounce back and win at home to Norwich shouldn't they, which should (just about)secure them third.

Newcastle could be a demoralised spent force by this time next week.

But like I've said, leave it in the hands of the football gods, our run in could soon even be seen to be the easier of the two contenders.......

.....but lets not get ahead of ourselves, WE NEED TO BEAT UN*T*D FIRST.

COME ON BLUES!

Arsenal have played one more than Newcastle, Spurs and Chelsea...

Nothing is going to be secured until last day

The pressure is firmly on Newcastle, history shows them to be bottlers on the big occasion. We beat the ***** tomorrow then Newcastle are in for a roasting.
