Even if Owen Coyle's brother was reffing the game, we should be looking to beat Bolton.

There is absolutely no agenda from Clattenburg he's actually improved as a ref recently. As an aside I dont care who refs us for the rest of the season if were good enough we'll win it if were not we wont!

That's so niue true though. What if we are better than Utd but they are gifted two penalties like at Chelsea?

BaconFace would have sent three off by the time we had lined up in the tunnel - and there wouldn't be as much as a finger waggin' for the rest of the game for anybody. Ninety minutes with 8 v 11!

Clattenberg is the biggest knob with a whistle who's ever trodden the turf.

Re the 1-6 - I'm not so sure he didn't try to report that as a draw!

I trust him as far as I can kick one of the spirals off its foundations.

Technically it doesnt matter how many penalties they get gifted in other games, as long as we do our job and win our games (including the derby which being fair is the only game in which it matters what they get) then we'll win the league.

They've always had an easy ride due to most refs being shithouses who are scared to death of old baconface, weve just got to rise above that and dont you worry in years to come refs will start to have the same fear of Bobby as they do of that horrible ****.

Technically it really does. What if we are the better team in a game (a la Wigan & Villa) but our opposition are gifted two penalties, we'd have lost both? Or like at Everton when we had 3 very good shouts (certainly better than the ones given for the rags at Chelsea) denied?

Ofcourse it matters how well the refs do. To suggest otherwise is frankly naive.

so you agree with his assessment in the Chelsea game that Silva fell over thin air?

Think you'll find that was Dowd.

Chelsea away this season missed the blatant penalty on Silva claimed he had rain in his eyes and did not see the incident ( lying t**t )

Just to clear up, Clattenburg was the ref for Chelsea away this season.
