He'd completely run out of steam by 60 mins - he may have carried on running round like a headless chicken but he'd well an truly lost his bite. Unfair to judge him on this game, wasn't match fit

Very disappointing today, and generally since he signed

Mancini didn't want that Milner apparently, which is strange considering he was the one who signed him.
As I said somewhere else; in the right manager's hands (as with MON at Villa), he be England's next Frank Lampard. He is that good.

I imagine Mourinho would be very good for James, as he was for a young Lampard at Chelsea.

Milner sums up english football , great effort , never gives less than 100% , but technically a very average player , against world class players , he just isnt good enough.

He's hardly played of late - surely he should be fresh as a daisy?

Below par today. You'd think he'd be pulling up trees when given a chance, show Roberto what he's missed....................wishful thinking on my part

The biggest issue for me is why the fuck he looked so knackered? You've got a model professional there who is totally committed and is renowned for having a hell of an engine on him, he's not played much lately cos mancini randomly benched him so he should be raring to go, but he was fucked

He's a good player but I can't see why we signed him, only played in his best position about 4 times and most of the time he looks like he doesn't know what he should be doing and just runs down blind alleys. His energy is totally wasted on the wing. I think he would look a lot better playing for United or Spurs.
