I won't mock you for your opinion; don't agree with it though! But even if he does become a world class CB, how long is that going to take; 1 season out on loan? 2? And can we afford to hang around waiting for him to maybe come good?

Fair enough, and thanks for your opinion :) In response to your comments that I highlighted, I have no idea! I hadn't (foolishly) considered the loan option, but perhaps a year at a Europa League chasing team would do him well.

Skirtel, Carragher and Agger are better players than him.

I acknowledge your view! Admittedly they are better than him at the moment, but with time do you not think he could be better? He is considerably younger and more inexperienced than these guys for one thing.

I've thought he could play since he arrived. Quick, strong and good in the air , and good on the ball.

He might yet make it. He looked a good player low on confidence in january, not a bad player who's been found out. I rate boyata as highly too.

Both have the attributes to be first team players , depending on development

What about Chelsea?

He plays well for 89 minutes but makes the VITAL error. He just needs more experience. Remember Vidic was poor when he arrived but with 6 months under his belt, turn into a Machine. Give him a year away from the media's glare to a team in Italy where your defensive skills are really needed. He isn't a bad player, he just's needs someone to guide him so send him on loan to the right club and in a year we may see a different player. Also, look at Evans. The more he's played the better he's got. He is not a world class player but has improved well since the derby match where we BATTERED THEM 6-1 ( I JUST HAD TO). Give him time and send him on loan to Italy and bring him back in the 2013-2014 season and then we will see if he was a good buy or not.

Got to agree here, think a loan spell would do him a world of good... preferably somewhere with an old pro centre half to teach him his trade....

I think someone like Kolo can guide him in training about what to do in various situations. Kolo is an experienced player that can 'teach him the ropes'

As most have said, when you see a young raw player who is a genuine future 1st teamer, you normally go " ok he made some mistakes but he has 'x' 'y' & 'z' that can be worked on & then he'll be a real prospect ".

I can't see 'x' 'y' or 'z' with Savic, just a number: ' 2 ' .

I don't think a Premier League team would take him on-loan.

With his errors/mistakes to one side, what is the general Bluemoon concensus regarding this guy?

Personally, despite what we have seen thus far, I can't help but feel that with experience and age (perhaps via Carling Cup games and regular sub appearances if we're comfy enough to do so), this guy is going to evolve into a machine. I expect to be laughed down, and by no means do I think he will become one of the world's best - but do you think he can improve and get a regular place in the squad at some point?

Thanks for considering :) *tinhat on*

Yes. He shows potential. I like how he brings the ball forward, on the ball with his head up and an insightful pass.
I'm always surprised at how easy he gets it to the forwards.
