It claims Aguero's the 1st since Francis Lee to net 30 or more. Actually, Shaun Goater netted 32 in 2001-02 (28 in League & 4 in cups).

Aguero's achievement is great, of course, and his role this season has brought us true success, but it's important we don't forget the Goat as well.

Anyway, thought I'd mention it.

Some of the ones they mention (eg Meredith, Gillespie & Kevan) were in Div 2.

30 pies? I think it was 60 and it was during the half time interval. His record will never be beaten.

A fantastic effort by Kun in his first season.

As for the Goat - I genuinely believe that he is the most important player in our History; he defines everything about our Club.

I was hoping against hope he'd hit 30.

A young striker like that is one we need to keep, so PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE...


Don't sell him off to Madrid, Barcelona or Milan.
