Now we all know City are huge (obviously) within Manchester itself but I have to say the reactions locally since Sunday have been incredible. I live in Whalley Range and was out and about yesterday and people seeing my City jacket have stopped the car to wind the window down with cheers, beeping horns etc etc.

I had one foreign gentleman actually approach me, shake my hand and utter the immortal line 'I love City, love City' whilst displaying a huge grin.

I know we will become popular all over the world because of the players we have signed, last years FA Cup win but this has propelled us in rocket like proportions within the boundaries of our own City.

We are winning back lost generations, making new friends, and this really is the rebirth of Manchester City.

I had to share this because the reactions I've had since Sunday have been quite overwhelming.

We live in Shipley, West Yorkshire and when we got back on Sunday evening, we went to a Chinese take-away for some chips.

A lad was coming out as I approached the door and he said, "Congratulations on winning the league".
