There is an interview on sky with Joe Hart right after we won and he just kept shouting lets go and do it again next season. That the mentality of this team from now on they know its their hands to become football giants.

NO!

We will bottle it. They won't.
Utd always finish the season stronger. We can't.
Jones and Smalling have big game experience. Aguero and Silva don't.

It's the rags to lose next season, Ferguson's mind games will rattle Mancini and we'll have no chance.

And you forgot to mention Cleverley Zidane and Jonny Clueless Evans and Old Man Scholes and Even Older Man Giggs. How can we possibly hope to compete?

In a way now with hindsight it was a good thing to have lost at Arsenal and Chelsea and still win the league. Yes they are going to be stronger both of them as are the Rags. But Arsenal ended up 19 points behind us. The question is where are they going to make those points up. The team that will suffer the most from a stronger Chelsea and Arsenal will be the Rags who took 4 points off Chelsea and 6 points off Arsenal. As long as we don't stand still get rid of the players that Bobby thinks need to go, and we bring two or three in that are capable of going straight into the first team, I think we will retain it. Come on City, what a day last Sunday was I'm still on a high!!!!

I'll be basking in the glory of this seasons acheivement well into next season.

I think we can only assess our chances after next January although it would be good to think we can win back-to-back prem titles.

Ultimately this depends on how we and others strengthen their teams and I'm also worried that YaYa will be off to the African Nations Cup again as they're moving the timing of this to sync it better with the World Cup.

Getting at least as far as the Champions League Semis would also be awesome.

We shouldn't be confident its always going to be a struggle. can't see myself ever going into a game thinking we've already won it so don't wanna do the same with a season.

Really hope that we can build on last week and dominate for years. It won't of course be easy, the Rags will be wounded and the usual suspects will strengthen their squads plus we will be all the teams "Cup Final"!

To me if we can bury some hoodos, ie beating Everton, winning at Anfield and beating bloody Sunderland we could easily win it a lot earlier than the last few seconds of the last game.

I'd rather leave predictions like this to the experts:

A bit more backbone and a winners mentality throughout all of the team will see us establish ourselves as the team to beat.

But a lot will depend on how and where we strengthen.

That will determine whether we can deal with being the team that everyone wants to beat.

Said it after the QPR game, with 2 or 3 good signings, now we know as a collective (players, management, fans) what it takes, we could realistically run away with it.

I think if there is to be any season that we really stretch our legs and win by a margin next season could be it. A lot depends on Chelsea tonight, if they lose I think they're out of the running already. Win and they could end up going for a lot of the same transfer targets we are, which would be a pain.

We must improve our away form though. We beat United twice and still finished level on points, and it's far from a given that we'll do the double over them every season. Games like Sunderland (both), Swansea, West Brom. Absolutely have to put these teams away. I would like to see us match Chelsea's 04/05 season of only 1 loss which we are more than capable of doing. Not loosing by more than a single goal all season is a pretty good foundation to take forward.

However I think it's widely and rightly accepted that United were going at full fucking tilt all season just to keep up with us. They ended up dropping out of all competitions they would usually be in till the latter stages and were clearly focusing on lifting that 20th title, and they still couldn't. We've put the bullshit to bed about the experience in the run in, the big game players, the bottling it. We're stronger now, much stronger, and hopefully even hungrier to lift that trophy again. We also know now that we should never ever accept that we're beaten. A goal down going into stoppage time? Too fucking right we can still win.

I don't think I'l ever be truly confident of winning the league whilst Slur is around, as I will never underestimate the influence he and that shit team have over seemingly every aspect of the Premier league. I'll see who we both sign before the start of the season before making a prediction I think.
