No. And you don't have to read or respond to any particular post, unless I'm missing something. To show my more humane spirit, I won't comment on the ''legend'' bit.

Unfortunately as I enjoy reading about a player, sharing fond memories of a player rightly revered by City supporters, I ended up stumbling upon your contribution.

But your right you can post where you like, I eagerly await the next constructive, positive post to benefit the discussion.

I've said my bit, and I stand by it. There have been numerous threads about Gio. A quick (10 second) search came up with this;

And that's only threads with ''Kinkladze'' in the title. Surely the OP could have posted in one of those, no? And for what it's worth, I enjoyed seeing him in a City shirt as well.

I think that highlights that fans dont want to consign him to the history books and still get pleasure from discussing his merits and his time at City and as this is a city forum this is the perfect place to discuss him.

Whether a new thread or an old thread, what does it really matter? I stand by my view also, I dont understand the need to post sarcastically on a thread just becauses your not interested in the choice of topic or think it has been done to death. Just leave others to enjoy it.

To avoid cluttering up the forum with unnecessary duplication of thread subjects, and so making the finding of the original thread so much easier in the search function. After all, isn't that what the search function is for? Ah well; whatever. It's obvious we're not going to agree on the needlessness of the thread; we could end up arguing all night, and achieve precisely nothing. Therefore, in the interest of my own calmness of mind, I shall withdraw from this thread and leave it to you. And, as I said (typed) earlier, I was/am a fan of his.

Silva and Nasri would have looked any different to Kinky in that team of 90's cloggers...
